My first contact with her work came through a recommendation from my obstetrician in the city of Lowell, Massachusetts, as Caroline was coming to our city to photograph the births of other women. At that time, the idea of having photos taken had not yet crossed my mind, as there were not many photographers in our region, but I noticed a difference in her work, with very unique and distinctive images that caught my attention. It was clear to me that the reason for her coming from Brazil to the United States to do this work is that her way of photographing is unique, and she has experience in dealing with any adverse situation. I was pregnant with my second daughter, and we saw a great opportunity to have maternity photos taken, an idea that had not occurred to me until then. The result of these photos far exceeded my expectations.

I became acquainted with Caroline's work while still living in Brazil. I had the opportunity to hire her to capture my daughter's first birthday. A few years later, we left Brazil and moved to the United States, where I had another child. I had a frustrating experience with birth photography in the United States when I hired a company that did not meet my expectations regarding the photos. I had seen Caroline's work on social media and identified with her way of photographing the birth of babies. Then we had the Newborn photo-shoot, and from then on, we had monthly photo sessions to document all the changes in my baby.
